i’m also struggling to relate to people in a dating/friends context because everything seems to involve sex or substances? every new person i meet is either very casual/comfortable with sex, a major weed enthusiast, or drinks daily so every proposed meetup is “let’s get drunk/high together” or implying casual  sex and I just…I am well into adulthood by now but none of those things have ever been my life and it’s daunting to only have those options for socializing

i’m just a virgin who gets drunk approximately 3 times a year and could care less about weed like let’s make s’mores together or something

and this isn’t even one of those pretentious “straightedge is so superior! let’s go to museums and look at art!  alcohol and drugs are for losers uwu” posts I’m just a fucking lightweight who hates weed and is horribly intimidated by the pandora’s box of 93 artisanal niche kinks that social media and dating apps have unleashed 

all I’m saying is it’s a downer that fun hangouts like walking in the park or baking together and considered babyish and boring because they’re substance free and/or don’t involve the potential for sex
