Fallen Angel – Chapter 4

Okay, it’s up, yay! I probably won’t update for a couple of days after this one simply because I kinda have shit I need to do (boo!).

Excerpt:

“I’m sorry, Steven. I didn’t know it would be that bad.”
Rebecca broke eye contact and looked at the floor. “He hasn’t spoken to anyone
but me about that.”

That didn’t surprise Steve, not with how emotional the angel
had become before even retelling the worst part of his experience. “To go
through something like that…I can’t even begin to understand what that was
like. He told me about the night in the field, and seeing angels dying left and
right, and the thought of that scares
the hell outta me. To experience it?
I’m surprised he didn’t go insane.”

“He did.” The brunette remarked. “Did he say anything about
not remembering some time?” Steve nodded. “When Bucky finally opened up to me,
he said it felt like it happened yesterday, but it was thirty years, Steve. He doesn’t remember anything, even after our
mentors tried to get the memories to resurface. It’s as if they don’t exist.”
