1 penny below reporting limit for the IRS… I see what you did there
(Don’t give me $599.99)
That’s not the right IRS rule.
$599.99 is the amount below which a business does not need to issue a 1099 to a contractor who provides business services. The contractor still needs to report the income on their taxes.
The correct number for the IRS rule for money that is gifted rather than received in a business transaction is $13999.99–more than that, and the recipient has to pay tax on the gift and report it to the IRS. Less than that, and there’s no taxation or reporting requirement.
If we’re choosing amounts on the basis of IRS limits, give these people $13,999.99.
Go. Do it.
Reblog if it’s ok for people to give you $13,999.99
yuri measures how drunk otabek is by how deep his voice gets and how dopey his smile becomes
a drunk otabek is a clingy otabek
“Yuuuura. Yuuuuraaaaa”
a karaoke GOD. will fight JJ for that microphone
the king of doing shots and the only skater brave enough to challenge katsuki yuuri to a drinking game (he loses, but he fought valiantly)
on good terms with the bouncers at every club. will get you into VIP like the true friend that he is
inventer of 101 unique and frankly sickening pet names for his yura
is the one in control of the speakers during house parties. everyone is a big fan of his mixes and requests them during every event
“Yura how much do you dare me to climb that fire escape” “Beka no” “Beka yes”
a wanderer. where did otabek go?? probably halfway across the city on a bus he stumbled onto when no one was looking
also a sudden sleepy drunk. will fall asleep on a warm slice of pizza if left unattended
has friends literally everywhere. forever bumping into random people he knows
sleeps like the dead after a night out and will not be seen before 2pm the next day. he avoids hangovers this way though, much to the annoyance of everyone else as they lie on the couch and groan through their headaches
in conclusion,,, i’d give my left tit to party with otabek for a night
Extremely handy if you follow a lot of people and hate missing anything good.
Best Stuff First moves the best stuff on your dashboard—mhm!—right up to the top.
It’s rolling out this week on iOS and Android, and comes with this Help Center article.
Thanks! ✌️
I don’t have the option to turn it off yet, but chances are good that my dash is still affected. Chances are good that y’all have been affected. Whatever you do, keep checking your settings tab for the ability to TURN THIS OFF. Because we creators are gonna suffer from this.
————
There’s a chance that y’all might not have gotten this option yet, but i finally did. For the sake of all creators out there, check your general settings and look for this option. If you have it, TURN IT OFF. Don’t let some algorithm dictate what you see.
Don’t just like this. It needs to be spread so people know. Not only will your feed be out of chronological order, but creators who aren’t hella popular are suffering lack of exposure because of this. This is the one thing i WILL pressure to reblog.
Hilariously, I did not see this new post at the top of my dash until I turned off the dashboard sorting thing.
I’m antisocial, yet social. I don’t talk to people first, but when someone talks to me first I’m up for talking to them. Some days I’ll be really talkative and friendly and other days I’m just in my shell like nah today ain’t the day for socializing.
first day of college in media: “Please open up your textbooks to chapter three because I expect you to have already read the first two chapters in preparation for starting this class”
first day of college in reality: “We’re going to spend the next hour slowly and thoroughly going over every page of the syllabus because I strongly suspect at least half of you assholes don’t actually know how to read”
In my fic, the boys are the following ages at the beginning
The Love(s) of a King:
Yuri: 19
Otabek: 20 (turns 21 during Chapter 6)
JJ: 22
Reasoning: The fic begins in 2019. In the series, Yuri is 15 during the GPF of 2015. He was born in March, and the GPF was in December. Therefore, he was born in 2000. At the time of the GPF, Otabek was 18, and his birthday is October 31. If he and Yuri had the same birthday, he’d be 17. That makes his birthday 1998. Because he hasn’t had the birthday in the fic yet, he starts at age 20. Same idea with JJ. In the series, he’s 19, but his birthday was before the GPF. Make his birthday the same as Yuri’s, and he’d be 18. This makes his birth year 1997. He’s already had his birthday in the fic, so he’s 22 at the beginning.
I Put A Spell on You (Because You’re Mine)—btw, you can casually refer to this fic as “Hocus Pocus,” because that’s what I do…
Otabek: 24 (turns 25 during Chapter 3)
JJ: 26
Yuri: 23
Reasoning: Otabek has been on his own for a decade. You learn later on that he lived with people until he was 14. The age gaps are the same as in canon, giving us the other ages.
