Here’s the difference between a rape joke and what’s going on here
A rape joke would be a joke wherein the victim is the butt of the joke, where the audience is supposed to sympathize with the rapist, and light is made of the rape
This joke in this video (and in the other video too for that matter) are saying, “remember when colonists raped people wherever they went? And we don’t talk about it anymore because colonists rewrite their own history? Well just reminding you that colonists were rapists, just gonna leave that there”

let’s go back to the first video, history of japan where there’s a little annotation under japanese colonialism that says “and they did some rapes”
that’s not a joke, that’s a greatly disputed piece of history, and the people on one side of the dispute is the japanese government, and on the other side is everyone else
the japanese government denies any wrongdoing during the japanese colonial era, while korean comfort women whoa re still alive today just want some kind of acknowledgement of what they went through
so yeah, when i read “and they did some rapes!” that casual acceptance of a piece of history that people are still denying happened, yeah, that made me happy to know that their someone is acknowledging what they went through
so maybe you want to live in your own little world where any mention at all of rape is this sacrilege defamation of morality, but the rest of you, go watch history of japan, and history of the world, pay special attention to those little annotations that acknowledge that japanese imperialists did some rapes, american imperialists did some rapes, and european imperialists did some rapes, and learn a little history
