anyways. yes. other than for the purposes of dragonfucking (of which i am a big fan), i approve of this. big soft flamboyant gilmore turning into a big soft flamboyant dragon, all curled up and sunning himself in the sun, clutching his friends in the circle of his tail by means of a makeshift hoard. how lovely.  just love the idea of dragon!gilmore being this sorta. mid-sized for a dragon, but still pretty damn big, creature, kinda chubby, very lazy, always sunning himself and lying around and taking life slow and chill, fussing over his scales and preening, sprawled in the main square of whitestone around the sun tree to catch the midday sun.

and of course, some people assume that “chubby and friendly and chill” means “will not fuck your shit up if you try anything with him or the people he cares about”. they are very, very wrong. dragon!gilmore is absolutely still very much up for shit-wrecking in a terrifying manner should the need arise.
