so shiro was like, the equivalent of a grad student at the garrison when he went on the Kerberos mission, right? Or recently graduated? Either way, every grad student I’ve ever met is hopelessly addicted to coffee (I’m a senior in college and I know I am) and I personally think shiro would be too.
My point is, imagine they’re stopped on a planet for some reason or another, and the locals offer the paladins a traditional drink to celebrate voltron or whatever. After coran insists that it won’t make them sick, they all take a sip.
