if an older kid (16+) asks you out, say no and cut off communication immediately. if they continue to ask you out or try to threaten you into dating them, tell an adult. dont let the situation advance in their favor.

This is very important, because i promise you: no matter how old or mature you think you are (or hell, even actually are), you’ll get a few years older and realize just how big a maturity difference there is. But you know who already is aware of that maturity difference?
The older person trying to get you to go out with them. And they are almost definitely targeting you because you’re younger and less mature than them, and therefore you’ll be easier for them to control or manipulate. And if they try to make a big deal out of how mature you are? Like repeatedly telling you that you act much older than your age or something like that? BIG RED EFFING FLAG.
