Destroy the idea that dark skin people shouldn’t get tattoos because “it might not show up” shut the fuck up it does shows. You either blind or ignorant.
Or that dark-skinned people shouldn’t dye their hair bright colors, because “you’re too dark for the color” it’s not your hair nor your life.

Jeez, can we just not police what other people do with their bodies? It’s their body, you’re not living in it, so why the fuck should they listen to anyone but themselves.
(Of course, if the tattoo artist is saying not to do something and do something else for the sake of the art and your own comfort, at least weigh in their advice.)
