are people reblogging this as a joke? because this seems like a really good sign to put up?? like, maybe addicts deserve to get clean teeth without dying??
Not even just addicts – just… people who use illegal drugs which is addicts, poor people, rich people – people need to get off their high horse about substance abuse, man. As a recovering substance abuse addict with stepdad who is a substance abuse addict… this just angers me even more.
Also, tell them if you’ve taken drugs before any kind of surgery (not just dental) because afaik any type of anesthetic will kill you. I say drugs not just Meth because they might give you some other medication or whatever and it might have a really bad effect. Like, try not to take any before hand and if you can’t not take some definitely tell them. They can’t go to the police or anything (doctor patient confidentiality) they just want you to not die.
